The Elect Lethbridge collective has a principle of openness. Within that principle; honest, fair, and open discussion are key to maintaining true openness.
However, this is an environment where posters, and those who comment should understand that slander, personal attacks, and disrespectful commentary will not be tolerated.
The following are criteria that will be applied to all posts and comments:
- Businesses interest are to be kept out of the conversation. Elect Lethbridge acknowledges that business and politics are all too often intertwined, but this forum is for discussion, and not for the promotion of business interests, of any kind. This includes campaign endorsements from businesses, but not from private citizens who are active members in Lethbridge’s local business community, representing themselves and their own views, not those of their businesses or trades
- Personal attacks on the author of any post, or any comment will not be tolerated.
Elect Lethbridge understands that there is no black, and white; but in this environment of obscured interests, and heated partisan values, Elect Lethbridge aims to provide a safe, and enlightened environment for discussion.
